Synopsis: Do you experience conflict with your teenager? Do you feel that they often shut out your good intentions? Which parent doesn’t? But believe it or not, it really is possible to get through to teenagers on their level.
How to Talk So Teens Will Listen will help you take the frustration out of interactions with your teens and allow you to build a bond that will even last through these turbulent years.
Through this talk, parents will learn:
- To recognize the challenges that their teens face in these growing up years.
- Practical tools on listening to, honouring and engaging their teenagers.
Speaker: Joshua Ng is a professional trainer and DISC-Certified Behavioural Consultant who regularly speaks for Focus on the Family Singapore on marital, parenting and youth issues. An engaging speaker, he has conducted numerous talks and workshops in schools and other organisations. He also regularly conducts Parenting with Confidence workshops, with his wife, Pauline, for the community and specific groups like the Family Court.
